L’Eglise et l’Etat : un partenariat gagnant-gagnant pour la formation holistique de l’homme en République Démocratique du Congo

Résumé

A travers l’histoire, le rapport entre l’Église et l’État a toujours été vacillant, tantôt pacifique, tantôt belliqueux ; alors que les deux institutions sont ap- pelées à collaborer, étant donné qu’elles travaillent toutes pour le bien-être de l’homme. La République Démocratique du Congo ne fait pas exception. Depuis la formation de l’État Indépendant du Congo, l’Église et l’État ont tou- jours travaillé main dans la main, si non, côte-à-côte, s’aimant et se détestant mutuellement de temps en temps. Cet article met en relief, la collaboration entre ces deux institutions, laquelle s’est réalisée à partir des accords de partenariat que l’État a signés avec l’Église afin de réaliser la formation de tout l’homme. Ce partenariat qui a commencé depuis l’époque coloniale, s’est poursuivi jusqu’à la troisième République, en passant successivement par la première et la deuxième République.

Abstract

Throughout history, the relationship between Church and State has always been vacillating, sometimes peaceful, sometimes bellicose; while the two institutions are called to collaborate, given that they all work for the well-being of man. The Democratic Republic of Congo is no exception. Since the formation of the Congo free state, the Church and the State have always worked hand in hand, if not, side by side, loving and detecting each other from time to time. This article highlights the collaboration between these two institutions, which was achieved through partnership agreements that the state signed with the Church in order to achieve the formation of the whole man. This partnership, which began since the colonial era, continued until the Third Republic, passing successively through the first and second Republic.
